Three more walkalators are being installed at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2).

Two of them will be ready by the first week of December while another is scheduled for completion by the end of December, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd said in a statement Monday.

Two walkalators were installed at Skybridge, Level 3 (international departure level) while another at Skybridge, Level 3M (international arrival area).

The walkalators are part of the 19 extra walkalators which will be installed over time at klia2. The remaining walkalators will be installed next year.

Malaysia Airports is working closely with the contractor to ensure minimal inconvenience to passengers throughout the installation works.

The additional walkalators is expected to save passengers five minutes of walking on the 300-meter long Skybridge which links the main terminal and the satellite building.
