
The Taman Connaught MRT station is an elevated MRT station is located in Taman Connaught, Bandar Tun Razak constituency in southeastern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The MRT station is on the MRT Kajang Line and was opened on 17 July 2017 under Phase Two operations of the line.
The main landmark for the station is the Cheras Sentral Shopping Centre, once known as Phoenix Plaza.
A link bridge connects the station with the shopping complex.
The Taman Connaught MRT station follows the standard design for elevated stations of the MRT Kajang Line with an elevated concourse level and a platform level above.

The Taman Connaught MRT station has a layout and design similar to that of most other elevated stations on the MRT Kajang line (except the terminus and underground stations).
It has the platform level on the topmost floor, consisting of two sheltered side platforms along a double tracked line and a single concourse housing ticketing facilities between the ground level and the platform level.
All levels are linked by lifts, stairways and escalators.




The station has three entrances – Entrance A and Entrance B on either side of Jalan Cheras, and Entrance C at Jalan 3/144A inside Taman Connaught. A link bridge also connects the station via the link bridges to Entrance A and Entrance C with the Cheras Sentral Shopping Mall.
The entrance A is located at west side of Jalan Cheras. It accommodates access to Feeder bus stop, Cheras Sentral Shopping Mall (Ground Floor), Silka Cheras Hotel.

The entrance B is located at east side of Jalan Cheras. It accommodates access to Feeder bus stop.

The entrance C is located at north side of Jalan 3/114A. It accommodates access to Feeder bus stop, Cheria Heights Apartments.


Location of station
The station is located above Jalan Cheras near the northern end of the Grand Saga Expressway. The station is close to the Federal Territory – Selangor border.
The Taman Connaught MRT station is located in front of Cheras Sentral Mall and in the vicinity of Econsave thus those who live in property near Taman Connaught MRT will enjoy the conveniences of shopping and buying household necessities without going too far away.

MRT stations of MRT Kajang Line
The MRT Kajang Line is the first line of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project (KVMRT). The line runs underground for a distance of 9.5km beneath the centre of Kuala Lumpur while the rest of the alignment is elevated. The line has 31 stations of which seven are underground.
