The KTM Seremban Railway Station in the state of Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia is a major train station on the KTMB (Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad) Malaysian Railways North – South Line and is served by Komuter (commuter) and ETS high speed Electric Train Services.

Seremban Railway Station is served by commuter trains to and
from Kuala Lumpur’s KL Sentral, up to Batu Caves, as well as a new
Komuter service that started in October 2015 to Tampin.

For trains from Seremban to Tiroi, Labu, Batang Benar, Bangi, UKM (National University of Malaysia), Kajang, Serdang, Bandar Tasik Selatan (BTS) (for TBS Bus Terminal), Salak Selatan, Seputeh, Mid Valley, KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur Old Station, Bank Negara, Putra, Sentul, Batu Kentonmen, Kampung Batu, Taman Wahyu and Batu Caves.
You can change trains at either KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur, Bank Negara or Putra stations to change onto the Tanjung Malim to Pelabuhan Klang Line for destinations such as Shah Alam, Klang, Kepong Sentral, Rawang, Sungai Buloh, Port Klang….
This commuter route used to be called the KTM Seremban Line / Route (Laluan) with services between Rawang – Seremban.
It has since changed a few times to the Batu Caves – Seremban Line, then Batu Caves – Tampin / Pulau Sebang Line.

ETS Trains are the fastest way to travel overland in Malaysia and can take you from Seremban to popular destinations like, KL Sentral Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh, Penang Island (via Butterworth), Bukit Mertajam (BM), Taiping, Kuala Kangsar, Tanjung Malim, Batu Gajah, Langkawi Island (via Arau or Alor Setar) and many smaller destinations along the West Coast Railway Line up to the Thailand border at Padang Besar.
Seremban ETS Routes:
You can travel from Seremban to Kuala Lumpur by ETS Train, but it is much easier to take a much more regular Komuter Train (see the Komuter section above).
KTM Seremban Intercity Express Trains
Please Note : The older diesel Intercity Express Trains to / from Seremban have been cancelled from 19th May 2016.
They are now replaced by the new fast Electric Trains (as per above) between the Thailand border and Gemas.
If you wish to travel from Seremban to Johor Bahru or Singapore, you will now have to take an ETS Train to Gemas (or a Komuter train to Tampin), then take a connecting Shuttle Train from Tampin or Gemas to JB Sentral Station in Johor Bahru
From JB you can then connect to Shuttle Trains to Woodlands Railway Station in Singapore.

You don’t need to make an advance booking for Komuter Trains from Seremban, you just turn up and buy your tickets from the ticket counter or the Komuter ticket vending machines.
For Intercity / Shuttle and ETS long distance trains, it is best to book in advance to secure a seat.
Tickets go on sale in advance for varying periods before the departure date (due to the many timetable changes) from just a couple of weeks to a couple of months in advance.
Tickets can be purchased from any mainline KTMB train station ticket counter or you can more easily book online.
