KTM Kuala Kangsar Schedule (Jadual) ETS Electric Train


Located in the Royal town of Perak, the KTM Kuala Kangsar Railway Station has trains operating on the North -South Line stopping off here, with the new high-speed Electric Train Services (ETS) making travel to Kuala Kangsar fast and convenient.

The KTMB (Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad) Malaysian Railways N -S Line offers train services from Singapore / JB to the south, all the way up the west coast of the country and to the Malaysia / Thailand border station at Padang Besar.

ETS Kuala Kangsar High-Speed Electric Train Services

All of the ETS Gold and Platinum Trains heading north to the border station of Padang Besar or south to KL Sentral or Gemas, stop at Kuala Kangsar Station.

You can travel by ETS Train from Kuala Kangsar to popular destinations to the north, such as:

Taiping, Parit Buntar, Bukit Mertajam, Butterworth Penang, Sungai Petani and Alor Setar or Arau (for boats to Langkawi).

All ETS services terminate at the Malaysia / Thailand border station of Padang Besar.

From Padang Besar you can take a Shuttle service to Hat Yai.

Or, take the International Express to Bangkok.

ETS Trains to the south speed their way to KL Sentral and now have been extended down to Gemas.

Trains to the south of K. Kangsar stop off at:

Ipoh, Batu Gajah, Kampar, Tanjung Malim, Rawang before heading into Kuala Lumpur city centre, then stop at  Seremban, Tampin and many smaller stations in between.

If you want to travel further south in to Johor state where the line
is still being upgraded, you will have to change trains at Gemas.

Shuttle services travel down to JB Sentral, Johor Bahru.

Then another Shuttle takes you over the Causeway to Singapore.
