The KL Monorail service is an urban monorail system in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The KL Monorail link is 8.6 km long and it has 11 stations and it is one of the components of the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System.
Along the journey from KL Sentral station to Titiwangsa station, the KL Monorail connects with the KLIA Transit,
KLIA Ekspres,
KTM Komuter,
Ampang Line LRT,
Sri Petaling line LRT,
Kelana Jaya line LRT, and
MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang Line train services.
There are 9 stations between KL Sentral station and Titiwangsa station spaced at about 800 meters in the Kuala Lumpur central business district.

The KL Monorail system opened on 31 August 2003, serving 11 stations running 8.6 km with two parallel elevated tracks.
It connects Kuala Lumpur’s main station KL Sentral with the “Golden Triangle”.
The monorail route mainly serves major commercial areas such as Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and Chow Kit as well as tourist areas like Bukit Bintang and main interchanges like KL Sentral.

The KL Monorail is seen by many to be Kuala Lumpur’s missing transport link because it will connect with and complement the other urban transportation systems.
Since the KL Monorail train has to pass through very developed and expensive KL areas, a monorail train ride running over the median of public main roads is the most cost-effective, enjoyable sight-seeing choice.
The KL Monorail is a straddle system and the guideway runs mainly above the median of main roads in Kuala Lumpur’s central business district.
The KL Monorail system utilises permanently coupled 2-car trains, which are able to accommodate 158 passengers each during regular operations.
