Hotels near Bangkok Train Station
– Hua Lamphong Railway Station

If you are arriving in Bangkok by train or have an early departure from Hua Lamphong railway station, there are a number of hotels near Bangkok train station, including a few big hotels, boutique hotels as well as guest houses and hostels.    

Most of the accommodations are located along Rama 4 road or around it and are easily
accessible from the train station by the subway exit number 1 or number
4.

Our List of Hotels near Bangkok Train Station (Hua Lamphong Railway Station)

Just besides the subway exit 4 on Rama 4 road is the Bangkok Centre Hotel as well as the SK Boutique House.

Still on Rama 4 road in between the subway exit 4 and 1 there is the @ Hualamphong Hotel.

At One Inn is a nice hotel with comfortable and spacious rooms.

Exit Hualamphong station from subway exit 3 on Rama 4 road, turn left and follow Rama 4 road up to the first intersection named Maha Nakhon intersection.

Cross the intersection and go left along Charu Mueang road, you will see a sign At One Hotel asking you to turn into the first Soi on your right.

When exiting from the subway exit 1: go straight and you will be able to
see on the other side of the canal the newly opened Centra Hotel near Maitri Chit Intersection.

For cheaper options but still nice and clean there are two Guest Houses: Baan Hualampong Guest House and Your Place Guest House.

When exiting subway exit 4 go straight for around 300
meters and then turn into Soi Chalong Krung, the Guest Houses are
further down in the alley.  

The Siam Classic Hostel is also in this small alley.

Very near from the Bangkok Train Station you will be able to find a few hotels, but there are often old and run-down, like the Sri Hualamphong Hotel on Rong Muang road (after exiting the Bangkok Train Station from the front gate turn left into Rong Muang road) or the Train Station Hotel (on the left side of the 7/11 that stands outside the
train station).

The Train Inn Hotel on Rong Muang road (around 100 meters from the Sri Hualamphong Hotel) offer clean rooms at a reasonable price. It is the best option on Rong Muang road.

When exiting the train station by the side gate near the subway entrance number 2 you can see across the canal the big Sri Krung Hotel on Krung Kasem road.

Chinatown known as Yaowarat (after the name of the main road that goes
through Chinatown) is just a few minutes away and offers more sleeping
options such as the China Town Hotel and the Shanghai Mansion that face each other on Yaowarat road.

A bit further still on Yaowarat is the Grand China Princess Hotel with its rooftop restaurant that offers a 360° view of the city.
