The Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) is an expressway in Klang Valley that connects Shah Alam to Rawang. It forms the western link of the Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road and complements of the North-South Expressway (PLUS) State Road B9 (Jalan Batu Tiga – Sungai Buloh) and Federal Road FT54 (Jalan Kuala Selangor – Sungai Buloh).
GCE is connected to the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR) which connects to the existing North-South Expressway (PLUS).
The Kilometre Zero of the expressway starts at Jalan Monfort intersection near Shah Alam. The length of GCE is approximately 25 km – 23 km on the Prolintas sections and 2 km on the PLUS Expressway sections.

The GCE is built to reduce the traffic jam of the overcrowding traffic at certain bottleneck areas with 9 interchanges. GCE provides an infrastructure access for future developments between Shah Alam and Rawang and serves as a catalyst for the development of the surrounding areas, benefiting the community in the vicinity.
The GCE features a dual-three lane carriageway with a 5m central media beautifully landscaped.
GCE provides a 3 meter wide emergency lane on both sides and utility-reserve lane on both sides.
There are 2 Rest and Service Areas, 2 lay-bys and 2 JPJ weigh-bridges station along GCE. GCE gives motorists a restful journey, accompanied by beautiful trees and picturesque landscapes.

The Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) links with the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR), North-South Expressway (PLUS), North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE), and the future West Coast Expressway (WCE), forming the planned Kuala Lumpur Outer Ring Road (KLORR).

Facilities & Services
To give motorists the best of services, GCE is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. With 3 toll plazas, GCE has implemented various strategies to improve traffic flow and maintain road system.
The motorists can enjoy the convenience of mix-mode facilities when paying tolls. GCE has 35 lanes altogether, with 18 mix mode lanes for cash and Touch ‘n Go, 9 Touch ‘n Go lanes and 8 SmartTag lanes. Customer Service counters are provided at the highways and also at the lanes. These counters are for the motorists to refill their Touch ‘n Go card. GCE also has a dedicated motorcycle lane.
For safety, GCE installed emergency phones every 2km interval to help the motorists to contact the control center in case of any emergency. 2 Variable Message Signs (VMS), and Close Circuit Televisions (CCTV) have also been installed.
As an additional service, GCE provides a 24 hours hotline and patrolling teams. The maintenance of the highway is constantly being carried out to provide the motorist continuous best service. This activity involves the inspection in various areas such as the expansion of joints, piers, generator set, Automatic Lane Barrier (ALB), street lighting and as well as the upkeep of the landscape.
Other facilities are 2 Rest and Service Areas (RSA) and 2 lay-bys. These RSAs has facilities such as toilets, foodcourt, playground, prayer rooms and others.
